Jive Live Entertainment has come a long way since its humble beginnings in a small kitchen in Santa Monica. Founded by Julio Garcia II, a young entrepreneur with a vision to bring people together and create meaningful experiences, Jive has grown into a major player in the Los Angeles event production industry.
Over the years, Jive has produced more than 500 events, including live shows, concerts, festivals, races, conferences, and private parties for top brands like Red Bull, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Nike. Julio has also partnered with non-profits like A Place Called Home, Arts in Action, and Wings for Life to raise tens of thousands of dollars for worthy causes.
One of Julio’s proudest achievements is the creation of the New Year’s Race, the first night-time road race in downtown Los Angeles. Since 2012, this annual event has attracted runners from over 24 countries and raised thousands of dollars for non-profits.
